Ji Chang Wook’s New Korean Movie Revolver (2024) Gets Release Date

Ji Chang Wook’s Revolver movie has recently announced its release date. It is a crime-action K-drama starring Jean Do-Yeon and Im Ji-Yeon in lead roles. Chang-Wook will likely appear negatively in his upcoming project.

The new Korean movie tells the story of Ha Soo-Young (Do-Yeon), a former detective who goes to prison for someone else’s crimes. She takes the step for Andy (Chang-Wook) who has promised her a whopping amount. But soon, she realizes the promised deal is gone. On her day of release, a woman named Yoon-Sun (Ji-Yeon) comes to pick her up. Is she a friend or a foe? Only time will tell.

Meanwhile, Soo-Young goes on a quest to make Andy pay what he promised.

Ji Chang Wook’s New Korean Movie Revolver will hit the theaters on Wednesday, August 7, 2024. Directed by Oh Seung-Uk, the K-drama movie revolves around Soo-Young seeking revenge. Going by the storyline, Ji Chang-Wook will play Andy, who has promised compensation to Soo-Young if she goes to prison for his crimes.

Speaking about the film to Edaily, Seung-Uk said, “I looked for slightly different methods in both the way I portrayed the characters and the process of solving the problem. It is a work full of unique and strange fun.”

Recently, a few characters and movie posters were released. The first three photos featured the lead actors giving intense looks, respectively. While Do-Yeon’s eyes seek revenge, Chang-Wook has a car on his face giving a villain vibe. Ji-Yeon, on the other hand, looks mysterious. The final photo shows someone holding a revolver but hiding it.

Along with the posters, CGV network also released the first trailer. It gives a glimpse of the intriguing storyline. Meanwhile, the movie will soon hit the theaters in August 2024.
