What is Mayor of Kingstown about?
Mayor of Kingstown is set in the fictional town of Kingstown, Michigan, where the only successful business is the prison business and practice of incarceration. It follows the McLusky family, who serve as power brokers between various parties, such as police officers, criminals, and politicians.
Mike McLusky, the middle McLusky brother, is the main protagonist of the series. Mike goes through a significant character arc over the course of the episodes’ story, wherein he becomes mayor after his brother and previous mayor Mitch’s death.
