Following Pat Sajak’s recent departure from the show in June 2024, Seacrest is all set to succeed him as the new host. She has been fighting for equal pay for a while now and Sony executives have reportedly made her latest contract extension her last one. This means she will keep hosting the show with Seacrest for two more years but the future after that looks uncertain.

The Daily Mail reported that Vanna White is finding it increasingly difficult to work with Ryan Seacrest citing professional differences. They claimed that White “just doesn’t jibe with Ryan like she did with Pat, and no one really ever expected her to. There is just no way that she possibly could.”
According to The Daily Mail, White has expressed concern over a difference of opinions with Seacrest. She realizes that the long-running Wheel of Fortune needs to head in a different direction to make it more appealing to the new generation. White believes that it is time for her to move on as she is indecisive about staying on air with Seacrest as her co-host.
