What is Derry Girls about?
The series has a total of 19 episodes. The show begins with the first day of the 1994-95 school year. Erika wakes up to find Orla reading her diary, which leads to an argument with her mother over the teenager’s privacy and self-respect. Later, Erin receives an invitation from her crush, David, to his band’s gathering in the evening. Michelle also introduces her English cousin, James, to her friends. Each episode features the teenagers engaging in overwhelming emotions and drama. The friends try to enjoy their teenage days peacefully but keep landing in bizarre and chaotic situations. The star cast features Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Louisa Harland, Nicola Coughlan, Jamie-Lee O’Donnell, Dylan Llewellyn, and many others in key roles.
