Where was The Bikeriders filmed?

Most of the filming for The Bikeriders took place in the states of Ohio and Kentucky.

As per FilmiLoc, a major part of the filming took place in Cincinnati, Ohio. The state’s tax credit for filmmakers along with its perfect landscapes for the film’s screenplay made it an essential choice for filming. The filmmakers also used various venues within the city, like Northside Yacht Club, New Richmond Farm, Freeman Avenue, and Junker’s Tavern. Further, filming also took place in many areas of Hamilton County and Middletown in Ohio. Taking advantage of the suburban setting, filming included locations like Becket Paper Plant on Dayton Street, Mill Street in Lockland, and also Lakeside Inn in Middletown.

Whereas in Kentucky, we will get to see scenes shot within Kenton County, at locations like Mainstrasse Village and the town of Ludlow. Further, the movie also features the Taylor Southgate Bridge, the Purple People Bridge, and the Pepper Pod Restaurant, all in Newport, Kentucky.

The Bikeriders follows a motorcycle club known as Vandals MC and their evolution set in the 1960s. This motorcycle club is a fictional version of the Outlaws MC, formed in Chicago back in 1935. The film, written and directed by Jeff Nichols, is based on a photobook by Danny Lyon.
