In the early hours of Tuesday, Timberlake was arrested after being pulled over by the police, in Long Island, New York. As per People, a source revealed that he was heading to a friend’s house after dinner at The American Hotel in Sag Harbor. According to the formal statement released by the police, The Social Network actor was driving a BMW when police officers spotted him “failing to stop at a duly posted stop sign and failing to maintain his lane of travel.”

“Mr. Timberlake was placed under arrest, processed, and held overnight for morning arraignment.” the statement further read. Additionally, as per NBC New York, Timberlake allegedly told officers, “I had one martini and I followed my friends home.”
