Paramount Plus’s new TV and movie releases for June 17-23, 2024 include the second season of the 2021 animated show, The Smurfs, and the superhero drama El Chicano.
Starting June 19, Wednesday, Paramount Plus subscribers can check out Season 2 of The Smurfs. The Smurfs is a 2021 animated series directed by William Renaud and is the third TV show based on the popular Belgian comic series, The Smurfs.
Then, on June 19, subscribers can also enjoy Nick Cannon Presents: Future SuperStars Season 1. This VH1 series showcases Nick Cannon as he interviews rising music stars and mentors them to become future icons in the music industry. The series features appearances from artists such as Klondike Blonde, Hitman Holla, Big Boss Vette, and Symba.
On June 21, Paramount Plus with Showtime subscribers can check out El Chicano. This action drama follows twin brothers Diego and Pedro, who end up on opposite sides of the law growing up. The film stars Raul Castillo in the lead role and features a talented supporting cast including George Lopez, Aimee Garcia, Jose Pablo Cantillo, and David Castaneda.
Another Paramount Plus release this week is The Challenge Season 39. This latest season, also known as Battle for a New Champion, tests the contestants’ mental and physical capabilities to the extreme with more difficult challenges and higher stakes.
