Like the other members of the Seven, The Deep runs the risk of death in The Boys Season 4. However, up to this point, he’s managed to stay off both Homelander and The Boys’ radar. Despite this, his newfound aggression runs the risk of making him a target, as he’s more likely to put himself in a position where he could die. So, read below to find out The Deep’s fate as of The Boys S04E04.
Does The Deep die in The Boys Season 4?
As of The Boys Season 4 Episode 4, the Deep is alive and at low risk of death.
Kevin Moskowitz, as is The Deep’s original name, was introduced as one of the members of the Seven at the beginning of the show. However, his actual reputation as a pushover quickly came to light following his assault on Starlight and removal from the Seven in Season 1. Despite being a pivotal antagonist, the oceanic Supe has failed to pose any significant threat to the Boys. While The Deep has proven to be fairly incompetent in comparison to his peers, he has always managed to evade death by consistently reaffirming his allegiances with the Homelander and his loyalty led to him being reinstated as a member of the Seven.
Nevertheless, his persistent internal struggles hold the potential to make him go berserk at any given point. If true, this development could land the Deep on the radar of some powerful foes and subsequently prove fatal to Chace Crawford‘s character in the current installment of The Boys.
Additionally, he has been mingling with Sister Sage, one of the Seven’s latest recruits, in Season 4. She appears to be strengthening her friendship with The Deep for an unknown ulterior motive. While Sister Sage possesses superhuman intelligence, Kevin is infamous for being a simpleton. Consequently, she could use The Deep as a pawn in a larger play and ultimately become the reason for his eventual death.
However, it’s unlikely The Deep could end up dying before The Boys Season 4 wraps up. Nonetheless, no update regarding his future in the series has been confirmed at the time of writing. There are still four episodes left in Season 4, so anything can happen to the absent-minded king of the sea.
