Will Arcane Season 2 be the last one?
Netflix has confirmed via Arcane Season 2’s recently released teaser that it would be the last season.
As per Variety, Arcane co-creator Christian Linke clarified that they had a set ending in place right from the time they began working on the series. Linke added that it meant Season 2 would wrap up the narrative of the show.
The upcoming installment will pick up from where Season 1 left off. It will focus on the conflict between Piltover and Zaun, exacerbated by Jinx’s ruthless attack on the Piltover council. Vi, believing that her sister has completely lost to villainy, teams up with Caitlyn and the rest of the Enforcers to track down and stop her, along with Silco’s loyalists, who are still at large.
Will there be more seasons of Arcane after Season 2?
There will not be any more seasons of Arcane, according to series creator Christian Linke.
However, he did say that Arcane was the start of a shared universe of multiple stories taking place in Runeterra. Thus, although Season 2 will bring the series to a close, fans who enjoyed Arcane can get excited for similar stories in the future.
