Pat Sajak is quitting the show because he wanted to take leave on his own terms, as per The Oskaloosa Herald.

Sajak doesn’t seem too emotional about leaving the show and said he’s “surprisingly OK.”

“I’d rather leave a couple years too early than a couple years too late,” he shared. “I’m looking forward to whatever’s ahead.”

Who is replacing Pat Sajak on Wheel of Fortune?

Popular American television presenter Ryan Seacrest has officially been confirmed as the replacement for the outbound Pat Sajak.

Seacrest is no stranger to reality hosting as he has presented several popular shows, including American Idol, American Top 40, and Live with Kelly and Ryan. The TV star even has numerous Emmy nominations under his belt for his work on American Idol.
