Amazon Prime Video’s new TV and movie releases for June 3-9 2024 include the 2024 teen musical comedy Mean Girls, Nick Cannon’s Counsel Culture, and the movie Daddy’s Home.
Starting on June 4, Amazon Prime Video subscribers can stream Mean Girls. This 2024 teen musical comedy film is based on the Mean Girls stage musical, which itself is based on the 2004 movie Mean Girls. This new movie essentially follows the same premise as the original film, as Cady Heron’s entanglement with three mean high school girls, Regina George, Karen Shetty, and Gretchen Weiners, leads to Heron undergoing a drastic personality change.
Then from June 6, Nick Cannon’s talk show Counsel Culture arrives on Amazon Prime Video. This talk show addresses various issues faced by men like mental health, toxic masculinity, and modern dating.
Finally, on June 9, Daddy’s Home hits Amazon Prime Video. The story of this comedy movie follows a mild-mannered radio executive’s attempts to become a great stepdad to his two step-children. This becomes complicated by the arrival of the arrival of the children’s biological father.
Also releasing on Amazon Prime Video this week via the STARZ channel is Power Book II: Ghost. This crime-drama series was created by Courtney A. Kemp and serves as a direct sequel to Power. It follows Tariq, who finds himself involved in the affairs of the Tejada family while also facing increasing pressure in his attempts to help his family.
