According to Marca, Ferrari clarified that they have not banned any customer but Justin Bieber will not have access to purchase exclusive models and special editions from Ferrari. He will only have the right to purchase series production models from the renowned car manufacturer. Reportedly, Bieber joins the ranks of Kim Kardashian, Tyga, the late Preston Henn, 50 Cent, and more in this regard.
Ferrari took this step after Justin Bieber reportedly failed to adhere to the manufacturer’s code of ethics and ownership terms. The issue arose from Bieber’s purchase of a Ferrari 458 Italia with a white exterior and white rims. Just a few weeks after the purchase, the singer took the car to customizers and drastically altered its appearance. This action violated Ferrari’s guidelines, which strictly prohibit buyers from making drastic changes to its cars such as applying extravagant paintwork and tampering with the engine.
Additionally, Justin Bieber attempted to auction off the car without informing Ferrari. This is also a breach of the manufacturer’s guidelines. Ferrari stipulates that customers cannot sell their cars within the first year of ownership and they need to seek permission from the company. Bieber has yet to make any comments about the matter.
