Disney Plus‘ new TV and movie releases for May 20-26 2024 include a new episode of Doctor Who and the documentary The Beach Boys.
Starting on May 24, Disney Plus subscribers can check out The Beach Boys. Directed by Thomas Zimny and Frank Marshall, and written by Mark Monroe, this documentary acts as a celebration of the life of The Beach Boys band that originally featured Brian Wilson, Carl Wilson, Dennis Wilson, Mike Love, and Al Jardin, and how they played a pivotal role in revolutionizing the pop music genre.
Also, on May 24, a new episode of Doctor Who Series 14 titled “73 Yards” arrives on Disney Plus. This new series features Ncuti Gatwa in the lead role of the Fifteenth Doctor who is accompanied by his partner, Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson), as they traverse various time periods and experience all sorts of adventures.
Another release arriving on Disney Plus this week is a new episode of Marvel Studios’ Assembled, titled The Making of X-Men ’97. As the title suggests, this episode will cover the behind-the-scenes development of Marvel Studios’ latest project, X-Men ’97, a revival of X-Men: The Animated Series from the 1990s. Expect to see this new episode feature interviews with the cast and crew as they go into detail on how they helped make X-Men ’97 a reality.
