Yes, John Legend is leaving The Voice and will not be present as a coach in the upcoming season. However, he confirmed that this will not be permanent and he will be back in the future.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Legend mentioned that due to a lot of shows and travel overseas, he will be taking some time off from The Voice. āIāll be doing a lot of showsā¦and traveling overseas this summer,ā the singer said, adding, āIāll be backā¦If only I were actually going to take a break!ā
Further, Legend also talked about new coaches Snoop Dogg and Michael Buble joining the show. Snoop Dogg has appeared on the show in the past as a mentor, however, this will be his debut as a coach. āItās exciting to incorporate some new people intoĀ The VoiceĀ family,ā he said. Notably, Gwen Stefani and Reba McEntire will return for the next season as coaches.
