The cast of this yet-to-be released movie includes Mahershala Ali as Ray Butler and Tom Hardy as Eddie Boyle.

Where is 77 Blackout coming out?

77 Blackout is anticipated to come out in theaters in late 2026 at the earliest.

This is because two different companies are representing the distribution rights to the film. As per Deadline, Black Bear is set to launch 77 Blackout at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Meanwhile, WME is looking for a prospective buyer for the domestic rights. Given the cast and crew, neither company should have much trouble finding the ideal distributors. ComingSoon will provide an update when there is more news about 77 Blackout.

The official synopsis for 77 Blackout reads:

“In 1977, five rogue police officers formulate a plan to rob three criminal strongholds—the Hong Kong Triads, the Italian Mafia, and the Harlem Mob—all in one night. When a blackout sweeps the city the night of the robbery, the crew is forced to navigate a hellish landscape as years of being overworked and underpaid force each of them to confront their own morality.”
