Netflix‘s new TV and movie releases for May 13-18 2024 include Bridgerton Season 3 Part 1, and the first thirteen seasons of Archer.
Starting on May 13, Monday, Netflix subscribers can tune in to check out Archer’s first thirteen seasons. Archer is an adult animated sitcom show revolving around the exploits of Sterling Archer, a secret agent, and his colleagues, all of whom seem to have colorful personalities. The show is created by Adam Reed, best known for his work on projects like Sealab 2021 and Frisky Dingo.
Then on May 16, Bridgerton Season 3 Part 1 premieres on Netflix. This period romance show is based on Julia Quinn’s Bridgerton novels and follows the fictional Bridgerton family in the Regency Era of early 1800s London.
Also releasing on Netflix during this week is Madame Web, a superhero film directed by S.J. Clarkson and set in the Sony Spider-Man Universe. This movie follows Cassandra Webb, who gains clairvoyant powers after a dangerous incident and uses her newfound powers to protect three young girls from a powerful businessman Ezekiel Sims, who seeks to kill the three girls after learning of a prophecy foretelling his demise, and who shares a shocking connection to Webb.
Another release this week is Upgrade, a 2018 sci-fi action movie following Grey Trace, who after a tragic event that leaves him paralyzed and his wife murdered receives a bio-electronic chip that not only lets him walk but also augments his physical strength. Trace then sets out to avenge his wife’s murder.
