With the recent release of Knuckles Season 1 on Paramount Plus, many fans are wondering if a Season 2 will come out and whether or not it has a release date. Knuckles is a live-action/animated hybrid series that is a spin-off of the recent Sonic the Hedgehog movies by Paramount Pictures. The story follows Knuckles as he goes on a journey of self-discovery where he befriends a man named Wade Whipple and teaches him the ways of the Echidna Warrior.

Is there a Knuckles Season 2 release date?
There is no Knuckles Season 2 release date as it is unlikely to happen because of the show’s status as a miniseries.
Before Knuckles’ release on Paramount Plus, the series had been marketed as a “six-episode event”, which meant that the entire series’ story would be told throughout just six episodes, like a miniseries. As such, this ultimately eliminated the possibility of Knuckles Season 2 or more seasons being released.
However, Knuckles co-creator Toby Ascher mentioned in an interview with Paste Magazine that a continuation or more seasons was possible but that it depended on the series working successfully with audiences. He said “If something is working really successfully, and we have a really great story to tell, we’re definitely going to expand on it. I don’t think there’s any closed doors on future television, future seasons of Knuckles, so everything is wide open. I think it’s important to us that we’re not just making stuff to make stuff.”
