Ryan Reynolds and Marvel Studios confirmed the release of the first official Deadpool & Wolverine trailer. But what is its release time? Here’s everything you need to know.
What time does the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer drop?
The Deadpool & Wolverine trailer could be released between 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. PT (9 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET).
On April 21, the social media handles of Marvel Studios, Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman teased the release of the first official Deadpool & Wolverine trailer for April 22. But no release time was revealed for it. However, based on past release patterns of MCU trailers, the release time for the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer can be predicted.
Marvel is known to release MCU trailers in three ways. It could be a direct online drop, a sports event drop (Super Bowl), or a special event panel release. But since there are no special events/convention panels or sports events scheduled for April 22, the trailer will most likely be released online directly.
Looking at past releases, it’s safe to say that Marvel either drops its trailers at 12 a.m. ET, or between 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. PT (9 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET). The following list shows the release timings of the last few Phase 4 and Phase 5 projects in the case of direct online drops:
- She-Hulk: Attorney at Law Trailer 2: 9 a.m. PT (12 p.m. ET)
- Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Trailer 2: 6 a.m. PT (9 a.m. ET)
- Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania Trailer 1: 9 a.m. PT (12 p.m. ET)
- Loki Season 2 Trailer 1: 6 a.m. PT (9 a.m. ET)
- The Marvels Trailer 2: 12 a.m. (midnight) ET
Since it’s already past 12 a.m. PT (midnight) at the moment of writing, the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer can be expected to arrive at 6 a.m. PT/9 a.m. ET, or 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET.
