Amazon Prime Video has some new TV and movie releases for April 22-28 2024. These include 2015’s Spectre by Sam Mendes, the second season of THEM aka THEM: The Scare, and a new NWSL match.
Starting on Monday, April 22, viewers who have access to Prime Video can check out the platform for 2015’s Spectre. It is the 24th spy film in the James Bond franchise, and the fourth Bond film to feature Daniel Craig. In this movie, James Bond faces conflict with a mysterious international organization known as Spectre. His nemesis Ernst Stavro Blofeld aka Franz Oberhauser, played by Christoph Waltz, leads the organization. Apart from Craig and Waltz, the film also features Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Dave Bautista, and Monica Bellucci.
Then, on Wednesday, April 25, Prime Video subscribers can tune into the platform to stream THEM: The Scare, the second season of THEM. It will be set against the backdrop of Los Angeles County in the year 1991, roughly 40 years after the previous season’s 1953 setting. The story will follow homicide detective Dawn Reeve, who investigates a new case involving the brutal murder of a foster home mother. As Reeve pursues her case deeply, she starts getting troubled by terrifying forces that threaten to harm her and her family.
Finally, on April 26, viewers can catch a new match of NWSL (National Women’s Soccer League). Angel City FC and Kansas City Current will face each other in the match this week. It will premiere at 10:00 p.m. EDT.
