Legacy is a crime-drama series revolving around Guy Simmons, a notorious gangster, and patriarch of the Simmons family, who attempts to fight for his life as a sibling rivalry explodes and threatens to run his legacy to the ground.

There is no Legacy Season 2 release date as it is unlikely to happen.
When Legacy was first announced, it was reportedly envisioned as a three-episode series. Thus, going by this alone it can be assumed that the makers told the story they wanted to tell in the three episodes they released.
Moreover, it has been a year since the first and only season of Legacy aired and the makers of the show have not offered any updates, let alone information regarding Legacy Season 2. There has also not been any concrete news regarding a series renewal.
Thus, taking into consideration both the aforementioned factors, a second season is very unlikely to happen at the moment.

Why Legacy Season 2 might not be happening anytime soon
Legacy Season 2 probably isn’t coming out because as mentioned above, it had been reportedly envisioned as a miniseries of three episodes, and the creators seemingly do not have any plans for more stories as they have not revealed any information or updates about a second season.
