An announcement about this film came from Jagged Edge Productions in January 2024. Currently the film has a release window of late 2024. According to an Instagram post by Jagged Edge Productions, production for this movie will begin during the summer of this year. They are currently working on Bambi: The Reckoning and might reveal the directors and cast members for the Pinocchio film very soon (via Bloody Disgusting).
They added teasers for upcoming movies during of the credits of Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2. However, a release date for Pinocchio Unstrung will possibly come only after production of the film begins. The film will come out in late 2024, close to Bambi: The Reckoning.
