As of early April 2024, The CW hasn’t greenlit the seventh season of All American. Considering that the sixth season just premiered, this is not unusual. The CW will likely observe how the audience responds to the sixth season before deciding the future of the series.
While The CW has recently started focusing on non-scripted content, All American is one of the most popular drama shows on the network. During his appearance at the TCAs in February 2024, Brad Schwartz, president of the CW, reflected on the future of All American and Walker, another popular series.
“We’ve gotten [Walker and All American] to an economic area where as long as they keep rating, there’s no reason we can’t keep doing them… If Warner Bros. wants to keep doing them and we want to keep doing them, [we can,]” Schwartz said.
So, if All American continues its stellar performance in season 6, the seventh season will likely happen.
