The mid-credits scene in Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 teases the resurrection of both Piglet and Pooh to set up future movies such as Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble.
With more Poohniverse movies being announced, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 sets up the future with a mid-credits scene. After Piglet and Pooh get killed off by the end of the film, the final scene reveals Owl locating Pooh’s corpse.
He brings it back to their hideout where it is revealed that Pooh and Piglet both had enhanced healing factors. They are shown to be healing right before the credits start rolling. Now, they are expected to return in Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble. The film will also feature the other monsters of the Poohniverse, including Pinocchio, Peter Pan, and Bambi.
Whether Pooh and Piglet will cameo in other upcoming Poohniverse movies (Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, Pinocchio Unstrung, and Bambi: The Reckoning) remains to be seen.
