Fans are curious about what Eddie Vedder said about Taylor Swift and her Eras Tour. This is what he had to say about the Bad Blood singer-songwriter.
What did Eddie Vedder say about Taylor Swift?
Eddie Vedder said that Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour reminded him of punk rock crowds.
Speaking to Mojo magazine, the Pearl Jam frontman praised Taylor Swift’s global Eras Tour. Vedder attended one of the shows with his family back in July 2023. What’s more, he likened the experience to punk rock crowds:
“The craziest thing was it reminded me of punk rock crowds, of being aligned with all of the misfits in our town, back in the day,” he told the publication. “It was galvanizing and powerful.”
Vedder also mentioned how in the run-up to the event, he had made friendship bracelets with his daughter:
“The run-up to it, making friendship bracelets with her and the generosity of these young girls and boys… Trading these bracelets with different messages on them – lyrics, song titles, just acts of good will on these little bracelets. They had found their tribe; they were all agreeing on something.”
As reported by Billboard, Eddie Vedder was spotted attending Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour event last summer. He was with his family, wife Jill McCormick, and two daughters Olivia and Harper. At the event, his wrist was adorned with friendship bracelets from nearby fans. He also wore a shirt that simply read “It’s me, hi, I’m the father it’s me.”
While Eddie Vedder did not personally post any photos or videos from his Eras Tour experience according to Parade, fans took notice of him attending the event. Furthermore, one TikTok video showed Eddie Vedder taking a selfie with Imagine Dragons’ Dan Reynolds, who was also spotted attending the event. There is also another video that showed Vedder sending a birthday message to a fan’s father from the Seattle Eras Tour.
