Created by Victor Levin, Alice & Jack is a drama series. The plot follows Jack and Alice as they walk in and out of each other’s lives over 15 years. The show premiered in the UK on Channel 4 on February 14, 2024, before debuting in the US on Masterpiece on PBS on March 17, 2024. Is there an Alice & Jack Season 2 release date?
There is no Alice & Jack Season 2 release date as Victor Levin developed the show as a limited series.
PBS officially designates the show as a limited series or miniseries. So, it’s unlikely that the second season will ever happen. There are instances in which shows were originally created as miniseries, but they became multi-seasonal projects. However, that probably will not happen with Alice & Jack, as it ends pretty conclusively.
The main characters (spoilers warning for those who haven’t yet watched the show) reconcile, and Alice becomes pregnant. However, she is diagnosed with cancer and dies before giving birth. Jack passes away soon after, and it is implied that this happened because he had Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. With both protagonists dead, there is not much to take the story forward.
Andrea Riseborough and Domhnall Gleeson star as the eponymous Alice and Jack, respectively. Some other members of the cast are Aimee Lou Wood as Maya, Aisling Bea as Lynn, Sunil Patel as Paul, and Thalissa Teixeira as Rachel
Why Alice & Jack Season 2 might not behappening
