Why did Chloe leave The Traitors Australia early?
Chloe Campbell didn’t feel emotionally secure during her time in The Traitors. She left because she thought her opinions weren’t valued.
While Chloe was initially excited about being in The Traitors, she made a shocking exit from the show back in late 2022. She spoke with 10 Play and described her stay on the show as “a really intense experience”. She also revealed the reason she left, implying that she didn’t feel valued:
“A lot of people had told me that they didn’t want to hear what I had to say, so I gave them that. I just decided I’m not going to speak.”
She continued:
“I just remember thinking I don’t want to be here, this environment doesn’t feel secure for my energy, for my wellbeing, and no one valued what I had to say. I knew that I needed to go. I did it for myself and, truthfully, I feel that was the best choice I could make. I’m happy with my choice.”
While on the show, she called out Kashindi, Marielle, Angus, and Teresa as the Traitors. However, she was only half right as Marielle and Angus turned out to be the Traitors of the season. Speaking about that, she stated:
“I communicated with – I have no idea who the spirit was, to be honest — but they were like ‘there’s going to be a long-haired male with brown hair and a female with brown hair and fair skin’. When I saw them I thought, ‘Oh yeah, you’re going to be the Traitors.’”
While she was wrong to accuse Kashindi and Teresa, she did go on to say that she also suspected the other two Traitors of the show, Nigel and Claire, along with Dirk, because of the look they had in their eyes.
