In September 2022, about six months after the final episode of season 1 aired, My Dress-Up Darling was greenlit for season 2 or a sequel series. However, not much information has come out about it since then. Fukuda’s manga series is currently ongoing and has 12 volumes as of March 2024. Season 1 is adapted up to chapter 39 (volume 5), so there is plenty of material available for season 2 to go into production.
