Who plays Pavani in Code 8 Part 2?
Pavani Gilani aka ‘Pav’ is played by Sirena Gulamgaus in Code 8: Part II.
The Canadian-born young actress, Sirena Gulamgaus plays a uniquely-powered transducer in Code 8: Part II. She is relatively new in her acting career as she has only starred in titles including “Transplant”, “Orphan Black” and a few more. She will soon be starring in another film called “Humane”.
But here, being introduced in Code 8: Part II as a bright powerful child, the entire narrative revolves around her. To survive and find justice for her murdered brother, she takes the help of an ex-con (Connor) and a drug lord (Garrett). But how do her powers work?
What are the powers and abilities of Pavani in Code 8 Part 2?
Being a transducer, she has the ability to convert one form of technological energy into another, which allows her to control any tech.
A “transducer” is defined as a machine that “converts one form of energy into another”. But Pav takes this ability to another level as she can disrupt, control, and feel all pieces of tech. Her powers could act as an EMP device that fries another piece of tech such as a K9 robot.
At the same time, she could use them to control K9s, or even the Guardians if given an opportunity. She was able to feel the K9 robot recording her, which means she can sense what a running machine is doing or can do. She was also seen controlling the K9 robot and even used its memory log to transmit and broadcast a video on television with a camera.
So long story short, she can control tech and machines by reforming their energy.
