Is Daniel Craig playing Doctor Doom in MCU’s Fantastic Four?
Daniel Craig is rumored to be in talks with Marvel to play Doctor Doom.
Whether or not Doctor Doom appears in Fantastic Four remains to be seen. But as per Jeff Sneider, Marvel is currently in talks with the former 007 actor Daniel Craig to play Doctor Doom. He revealed the exclusive scoop on John Rocha’s The Hot Mic podcast saying that Craig has shown interest in being in a Marvel movie.
Sneider has a good track record with his scoops, but the Daniel Craig part isn’t confirmed. So, it needs to be taken with a grain of salt, as all rumors are. Furthermore, another familiar scooper, MyTimeToShineHello posted that Marvel has someone else in mind. So, we’ll have to wait for an official confirmation from Marvel before jumping the gun.
It’s known that Daniel Craig was initially poised to play Earth-838’s Balder the Brave, but that cameo didn’t come to life. Many would agree that his talents will be better used for Doctor Doom. But there have been plenty of other actors who have also been rumored for the role.

Cillian Murphy, Jon Hamm, Andrew Lincoln, and Mads Mikkelsen, are among some actors who have been rumored to play Victor Von Doom.
After the success of Oppenheimer, MyTimeToShineHello reported that Cillian Murphy was the top choice for Marvel’s Doctor Doom. But the following list reveals all the names who have been fan-cast or rumored for the role over the years:

It will be interesting to see if Daniel Craig or any of these aforementioned actors gets signed on for Doom.
