Sukuna asks how Yuta copied one of his cursed techniques. Yuta says he copied Sukuna’s cursed technique using Sukuna’s last finger. Yuta and Yuji attack Sukuna together. Yuji spits blood on Sukuna’s eyes while they’re doing hand-to-hand combat. Yuji’s determined, knowing it’s their last chance to defeat Sukuna and get Megumi back.
Rika grabs Sukuna while Yuji kicks him at the same time. Sukuna notices his cursed energy output and control over Megumi’s body is going down. Sukuna takes out Hollow Wicker Basket and plans to use the world cutting slash. But Yuta expected Sukuna’s plan. He slices off one of Sukuna’s arms, while the blood Yuji spat on Sukuna’s face exploded.
There’s a flashback of Yuji telling everyone that souls can be combined but never to the point they become one. He says he’ll definitely awaken Megumi’s soul. Hana says Angel’s cursed technique will work with Yuji’s plan. They’ll split Sukuna and Megumi’s souls, lessen Sukuna’s control over Megumi’s body, and attack with Jacob’s Ladder (Angel’s cursed technique).
Yuji and Rika grab Sukuna’s arms while Yuta uses Jacob’s Ladder. Sukuna ends up extremely burnt after the attack. Yuji punches with an attack on the soul and sees Megumi. But Megumi’s soul didn’t have the will to live anymore. Sukuna attacks Yuta, Yuji, and Rika with world cutting slash. Yuta’s domain breaks.
At the end of the chapter, Maki arrives and stabs Sukuna with her sword.
