The Deadpool 3 trailer didn’t reveal many characters apart from the old Deadpool 2 cast, TVA agents, and Pyro. It also gave us a couple of glimpses at Wolverine. But was Lady Deadpool also a part of the trailer? Here’s all you need to know.
Was Lady Deadpool in the Deadpool 3 trailer?
The Deadpool & Wolverine trailer seemingly hid Lady Deadpool in plain sight.
Watching the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer, many viewers spotted Deadpool using a couple of Uzis. While Deadpool’s usual guns of choice are two IWI Desert Eagle Mark XIX pistols, the shorter machine pistols felt odd to many. Furthermore, the gloves also have a red-black pattern instead of Deadpool’s black gloves. So, it’s fair to say that this is a Deadpool variant in play.
Considering that Uzis are Lady Deadpool’s weapons of choice, the variant in the above shot could be her. She was already rumored to appear in Deadpool 3 and now the movie’s trailer has seemingly confirmed her presence. For those wondering who plays her, Blake Lively’s name has been tossed around by the rumor mill. But whether she cameos as a variant of her husband’s character remains to be seen.
All confirmed Deadpool variants in Deadpool & Wolverine
Deadpool 3 will have at least 4 Deadpool variants.
Since Deadpool & Wolverine is a multiversal movie, it is expected to have many different variants. Two different Wolverine variants have already been teased. Now, the following list of Deadpools will be seen in Deadpool & Wolverine:
- Fox’s Deadpool from Deadpool 2
- Samurai Deadpool
- Dogpool
- Lady Deadpool
While Lady Deadpool appears to have been confirmed by the above teaser, Samurai Deadpool and Dogpool have been confirmed by set photos in the past. It will be interesting to see if more Deadpool variants also show up in Deadpool & Wolverine when it arrives on July 26, 2024.
