Karolina Shiino’s affair with a married doctor explained

Karolina Shiino had an affair with a married doctor and influencer before being crowned Miss Japan.

According to a weekly Shukan Bunshun article, Karolina Shiino had engaged in an extramarital affair with a married doctor and influencer. However, the man in question had not yet provided a public comment addressing the article. In an initial response to Shukan Bunshun’s story, the pageant organizers for Miss Japan had defended Ms. Shiino, claiming that she did not know the man was married.

Karolina Shiino earlier confirmed the relationship but denied knowing the man whom she was having an affair with was married. However, she soon took to Instagram and wrote a message, apologizing for misleading everyone and confirming that she had known all the while the man was married. Her message translated from Japanese reads:

“I’m very sorry for causing tremendous trouble and for acting as if betraying everyone who has supported me,”

Karolina Shiino subsequently apologized to the man’s family for the harm caused to them by her affair.
