As of late January 2024, The Way Home hasn’t been greenlit for the third season. Season 2 is currently ongoing, so it’s safe to assume that Hallmark will likely assess how the audience responds to it before making any decision. If it’s positive, there is a significant chance for The Way Home to get another season. The series was renewed for Season 2 in March 2023, so if the same pattern is followed for the prospective third season, the renewal can happen in March 2024, and the series can return in January 2025.
