After the Taylor Swift AI photos went viral, fans are wondering if they have been deleted forever from the internet. So, here’s all you need to know about what happened and if Swift is taking any action to have the images removed.
Have the Taylor Swift AI photos been deleted?
All Taylor Swift AI photos haven’t been removed from X (Twitter) or other websites. But X has blocked search terms involving her name.
After Swift’s AI images went viral, fans reported accounts that shared the NSFW photos. Many of those reported X posts and accounts weren’t available on anyone’s feed after being reported. But that does not mean that the photos have been deleted entirely. Some of them might still exist on various websites, not just X.
But, to prevent more people from coming across those images, X temporarily banned “Taylor Swift” as a search term as well as other search terms related to the photos. So, it’s unlikely that the images would appear if any user searches for them.
What is Taylor Swift doing to remove the AI photos?
Nothing is officially confirmed, but Swift is rumored to be considering legal action over the graphic AI images being circulated on various websites.
There hasn’t been any reaction from Taylor Swift or her PR team. So, it isn’t clear whether she or anyone from her end is personally looking to handle the situation. But the Daily Mirror reported that Swift is “furious” over the photos and is considering legal action. The report states:
“Whether or not legal action will be taken is being decided, but there is one clear thing. These fake, AI-generated images are abusive, offensive, exploitative, and done without Taylor’s consent and/or knowledge.”
Comingsoon will update the story once the pop star decides to take action on the matter.
