Dragon Ball fans are extremely curious about lead protagonist Son Goku‘s mid form, especially after it was revealed to be a playable form in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. Here’s everything you need to know, including how many forms the Saiyan fighter has.
What is Goku’s mid form?
The Mid Goku form of Goku is a form that Goku achieved following his training under King Kai (via Gamespot).
Despite granting Goku moderate strength, it is by no means a pushover form as this form (even in its base form) still allows Goku to dole out damage to multiple foes at once. Goku’s mid form is a result of his increased fighting strength from his training under King Kai. This form also allowed Goku to fight and overpower the Ginyu Force that had been causing torment to Vegeta.
There is also a Super Saiyan version of the Mid Goku form, which Goku unlocked after Frieza’s murder of Krillin increased his rage. This form caused Goku’s hair to stand up and become blonde and he also emitted a golden aura from his body. This form also increased his strength by 50 times and allowed him to evenly match and ultimately overpower Freiza in their fight.
