X-Men ’97 is all set to arrive early this year and fans are eager to know all the characters (both heroes and villains) who are confirmed to return. Here is a list of all the confirmed characters for X-Men ’97.

X-Men (Heroes):
- Scott Summers/Cyclops (voiced by Ray Chase, replacing the late Norm Spencer)
- Jean Grey (voiced by Jennifer Hale, replacing Catherine Disher)
- Anne-Marie Raven/Rogue (voiced by Lenore Zann)
- Henry McCoy/Beast (voiced by George Buza)
- Jubilation Lee/Jubilee (voiced by Holly Chau, replacing Alyson Court)
- Ororo Munroe/Storm (voiced by Alison Sealy-Smith)
- James “Logan” Howlett/Wolverine (voiced by Cathal J. Dodd)
- Remy LeBeau/Gambit (voiced by A.J. LoCascio, replacing Chris Potter)
- Roberto de Costa/Sunspot (voiced by Gui Agustini)
- Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto (voiced by Matthew Waterson, replacing David Hemblen)
Other X-Men members and heroes also set to appear but have not been voice-cast are Cable, Bishop, Morph, Nightcrawler, and Forge. The character Val Cooper will also appear with series creator Beau DeMayo claiming that she has an agenda with the team that will slowly be revealed throughout X-Men ’97.
Villains:
- Nathaniel Essex/Mister Sinister (voiced by Christopher Britton)
Other villains also confirmed to appear in X-Men ’97 include the Hellfire Club members Sebastian Shaw and Emma Frost/White Queen and Bolivar Trask, the creator of the Sentinels.
Catherine Disher, Alyson Court, Chris Potter, and Adrian Hough, who voiced Jean Grey, Jubilee, Gambit, and Nightcrawler in the original X-Men: The Animated Series, will return to the voice cast in new roles. Lawrence Bayne, who voiced Cable in the original series will also return to the voice cast of X-Men ’97 in the series’ second season. Anniwaa Buachie, JP Karliak, and Jeff Bennett have also been cast in the series in undisclosed roles.
