The anime is based on the light novel series My Instant Death Ability Is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against Me!, written by Tsuyoshi Fujitaka and illustrated by Chisato Naruse. The isekai fantasy adventure series follows Yogiri Takatou, a seemingly ordinary boy transported to another world along with others in his school bus by Sage Sion. Soon, Yogiri and the rest realize how horrible their new circumstances are as Sion kills all the adults and abandons the students who don’t demonstrate any special abilities. Yogiri joins forces with Tomochika Dannoura, another student who has been left behind, as they both want to survive. However, what Sion isn’t aware of is that in his world, Yogiri was experimented upon by the government and has the ability to kill anyone he wishes
