Before Vegapunk erased Kuma’s consciousness, Kuma requested Vegapunk to program him to protect the Thousand Sunny. Vegapunk wonders why Kuma has incredible faith in Luffy, and Kuma talks about how he told Bonney about the Warrior of Liberation. He then gives his memories to Vegapunk in a Paw Paw bubble.
