The latest rumors for Spider-Man 4 seem to suggest that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil and Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man will be appearing in the film and fans are curious if there’s any truth to the rumors. Here is all you need to know.
Will Daredevil and Ant-Man appear in Spider-Man 4?
Daredevil and Ant-Man have not been officially confirmed to appear in Spider-Man 4, as of publishing.
As of this publishing, Charlie Cox’s Daredevil and Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man have not been confirmed to show up in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man 4. However, according to semi-reliable industry insider Daniel RPK (via Patreon), Charlie Cox’s Daredevil is reportedly not only in the current draft for Spider-Man 4 but also has a significant role in the story.
RPK then further stated that Marvel and Sony were also reportedly looking to have another major Marvel character to fill the role previously filled by Iron Man, Nick Fury/Talos, and Doctor Strange and concluded by stating that the hero on their mind was Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man.
However, fans should take both these scoops with a huge grain of salt and wait until something official about Spider-Man 4 comes from Marvel and Sony.
Despite the lack of confirmation, a rumored Daredevil appearance in Spider-Man 4 is exciting for fans, who will finally get to see both the Man Without Fear and the webhead interact in costume, after briefly getting a taste of their dynamic out of costume in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Ant-Man’s rumored appearance is more surprising, given that both Spider-Man and Ant-Man are geographically located far away from each other, with the latter operating in San Francisco and the former staying in New York City.
However, both Paul Rudd and Tom Holland have expressed interest in their characters crossing paths at some point and Marvel has proven that they can make team-ups of all kinds happen, evidenced by the Guardians of the Galaxy’s brief appearances in Thor: Love and Thunder. So, an Ant-Man/Spider-Man team-up is not a far-off possibility for the MCU.
