The plot revolves around the eponymous sheriff of fictional Absaroka County, Wyoming, as he solves crimes and navigates competing jurisdictional authority due to the nearby presence of a Native American reservation with the help of his team and best friend, Henry Standing Bear.

Is there a Longmire Season 7 release date?
There is no Longmire Season 7 release date, as the series ended after season six.
The first three seasons of Longmire originally aired on A&E before its cancellation in August 2014. However, by November of the same year, the series found a new home on Netflix. In November 2016, the streaming giant greenlit Longmire’s sixth and final season.

Cindy Holland, who was Netflix’s VP of Original Content at the time, thanked the cast and the crew. “There has been no better team to work with on this show than Greer, Hunt, and John and their tremendous cast and crew, and we have every confidence that they will have a satisfying conclusion to this revered series,” she said.
