Is there a SurrealEstate Season 3 release date?
SurrealEstate Season 3 does not have an official release date, but it will likely be announced in the future.
As of early December 2023, SurrealEstate hasn’t been renewed for season 3. This is expected as season 2 finished airing on December 6, 2023, and CTV Sci-Fi Channel is likely to assess how it performs with the audience before making any decision. Syfy renewed SurrealEstate for season 2 in May 2022, about seven months after George R. Olson revealed that the series was canceled. It remains to be seen whether SurrealEstate will encounter similar complications again with season 3.
The ending of season 2 indicates that there is more to come, and in an interview with Horror Fuel, Olson expressed his desire to return for season 3. “Well, if all of us do our jobs, yes, there is,” Olson said, adding, “But, no, that’s one of the fun things about this show and these characters, particularly, and our amazing cast and crew. But there are so many different kinds of houses, there are so many different kinds of entities, there are so many different kinds of stories that as long as they let me, I’ll keep doing these, because it is such fun and at the end of the day it’s a cliche that it’s all about the characters, but some things become cliches, because they’re true. And this is one of those things… the characters that our amazing cast has brought to life are so fun, and so rich, and have such interesting inner lives.”
The series creator continued, “And peeling those off throughout the season is another just huge source of fun that makes it… I guess the term is sustainable. We feel like we can go on telling those stories for a long time.” So, if the audience response to season 2 is significantly positive, there is a chance for season 3.
