Who was in a “Love Triangle” on Squid Game: The Challenge?
According to player 278 Ashley Tolbert, player 271, Joy, and player 417, Alex were the two players who were involved in a “love triangle”. Phalisia did not confirm or deny this and kept her lips sealed when asked about it.
Player 278, Ashley Tolbert alleged that Joy and Alex were the two players involved in the rumored “love triangle” after fellow player Dash Katz claimed that they were in a showmance (a portmanteau of “show” and “romance”). Tolbert revealed this in an appearance on The Viall Files podcast.
Ashley’s claims were backed up by fellow player Sam Kohn, Player 188, who revealed to The Tab that there was a showmance between Joy and Alex and that the former missed the latter. Kohn also revealed how it went about, saying:
“He was on the bunk above me and they’d lie in bed each night and cuddle a bit, but then when it was lights out you had to go back to your own bunk,”.
Phalisia also revealed on The Viall Files podcast that there were hook-ups during the events of the show. However, she did not pick any names when it came to who had hooked up with whom.
Ashley and Sam Kohn also claimed that condoms were available everywhere. Sam in particular told The Tab that condom dispensers were available in bathrooms and that everybody used the lubricant from condoms to rub on their lips.
