Viewers who have seen Good Burger 2
likely have many questions about the film’s ending. Here is the ending explained with spoilers.
What happened to Ed and Dex between the events of Good Burger and Good Burger 2
In the years since 1997’s Good Burger, Dex moved on from Good Burger to become an entrepreneur, only to suffer massive failures. As for Ed, he remained at Good Burger, which was bought and managed by a new owner, and eventually became the new owner himself.
Years after the events of Good Burger, Dex moved away from Good Burger to focus on his entrepreneurial ventures. However, Dex did not get very far, as he suffered many failures. His latest attempt at Burn No More’s demonstration led to his office being closed. This forced him to return to Ed to regain a job at Good Burger.
Ed, meanwhile, remained at Good Burger, working in the same position he was in as seen in 1997’s Good Burger, and the restaurant was bought by a new owner. Ed eventually became the new owner after the previous owner handed the business to him when Ed’s sauce saved the company from going downhill. Even though he became the new owner, Ed practically worked in the same role he had before.
Why did Mia hold a grudge against Dex?
Mia held a grudge against her uncle Dex because he made her mom and Dex’s sister lose all of their money.
One of the new employees of Good Burger, Mia, who was Dex’s niece, refused to speak to him when he arrived at the restaurant. Mia later spoke to him in a hostile manner and reprimanded him for his carelessness which led to her mother losing all her money, and forced Mia to get a job at Good Burger to help her out.
It is unknown which of Dex’s projects cost his sister her money, but it can be assumed that it was one of his failed business ventures, if one takes into account the Burn No More fiasco.
Why did MegaCorp and Katt Bozwell want to shut down Good Burger?
