Squid Game: The Challenge viewers are wondering who the winner is going to be, with some fan-favorites already being selected after the first five episodes.
Who is most likely to win Squid Game: The Challenge?
If Squid Game: The Challenge is anything like the original K-drama, then either one of Players 301 or 302 could win, but other strong contestants include 179 (Chaney), 204 (Danny), 097 (Jada), and 002 (Favour).
Quite a few players made strong impressions in the first few episodes, including player 432 (Bryton Constantin), 243 (Stephen Lomas), and 232 (Rick). But the reality series has been designed to be unpredictable, and that was proven by the elimination of these three contestants in the first five episodes.
But still, a few strong contenders are left who could go on to win the $4.56 million prize money. The following list shows why one of the following stands a chance to win in the upcoming finale:
- 179 – Chaney: The Texas native teacher proved to be a bold leader in Test 3, causing player 330’s elimination.
- 204 – Danny: The 51-year-old is a physician assistant, and a true-born leader, currently leading the Gganbu gang.
- 097 – Jada: Fighting for a noble cause, the 24-year-old has proven to be energetic and highly practical, grabbing 198’s burger when she had the opportunity!
- 002 – Favour: The 22-year-old proved to be another smart contender when he didn’t fall for 198’s chocolate muffin trap, causing his elimination.
- 301 – Trey Plutnicki or 302 – LeAnn Wilcox Plutnicki: The son and his mother have been extremely strong contenders so far, causing 161’s elimination and performing well in all other games and challenges. But only one of them can win!
However, due to the nature of the game, it’s possible that neither one of these contestants would win. Instead, others such as 319 or 254 could take the title home out of the 63 players left.
Who is the favorite to win Squid Game: The Challenge?
Players 301 and 302 (Trey Plutnicki and LeAnn Wilcox Plutnicki) are proving to be fan favorites due to their mother-son relationship. But only one of them might win.
Player 432 was one of the fan favorites who thought he could win. But after his elimination, the aforementioned mother and son have been popular choices amongst the fans. Although, episode 6 might see one of them get eliminated.
