In February 2023, Hotel Portofino was renewed for a third season. It was reported that the upcoming season would have six episodes like the previous two seasons and the production was slated to begin on the Croatian coastline, where the series has been predominantly filmed since the beginning, and Portofino, Italy.
Jo McGrath, CCO of Eagle Eye Drama, the production company behind Hotel Portofino, said in a statement, “Hotel Portofino is Eagle Eye’s first original commission, so it’s wonderful to see the show being embraced by so many international audiences.
