The anime TV show, the full title of which is Our Dating Story: The Experienced You and The Inexperienced Me, is an adaptation of the namesake Japanese light novel series written by Makiko Nagaoka and illustrated by Magako. Developed by Studio ENGI, the show revolves around Ryūto Kashima, the gloomy, reclusive high schooler, and Runa Shirakawa, the quintessential popular girl. After losing a bet, Ryūto is forced to confess to Runa, who, much to Ryūto’s surprise, agrees to go out with him. As the series progresses, the unlikely couple learn new things about each other and grow close.
