In March 2023, during The Helluva Boss Live Autograph Signing session, series creator Vivienne “VivziePop” Medrano revealed that the writing for season 3 was “gearing up,” before adding that even though they have mapped out the entire series, they will wait until they are in “the thick of things” to actually script the episodes. Medrano also hinted that the character Millie, voiced by Vivian Nixon, would experience certain things in the coming season that Medrano drew from her own life.
The episodes of Helluva Boss are released somewhat sporadically, with the intermediate periods between two episodes sometimes stretching several months. Season 2 reportedly has 12 episodes, and seven of them have been released as of early November 2023. If the remaining five come out in the next five months, it can be conservatively speculated that season 3 can premiere in summer 2024 at the earliest.
