Fans have often wondered about the possibility of an Invincible x The Boys crossover and a Homelander vs. Omni-Man fight since both shows took the streaming world by storm. Here is all you need to know about both topics of interest.
Is an Invincible x The Boys crossover happening?
An Invincible x The Boys crossover is not officially confirmed to be happening. However, Invincible creator Robert Kirkman has suggested that it is possible.
At a New York Comic-Con event on October 14, Robert Kirkman, the creator of the Invincible TV series and comic-book franchise, when asked about a crossover, suggested that it could happen eventually by simply saying “We could”. However, Kirkman did not offer any more details regarding a possible crossover.
Despite Kirkman’s positive response, Steven Yeun, the star of Invincible and the voice of the eponymous character shot down the possibility of it happening in an interview with Comic Book Resources back in 2022.
There is only one roadblock that would need to be solved if a crossover were to happen. That being Invincible and The Boys’ respective mediums of animation and live-action. These different mediums can easily be reconciled given how The Boys recently stepped into the animation world via The Boys Presents: Diabolical.
Ultimately, a crossover between Invincible and The Boys is not a far-off possibility, given how the Invincible comics once crossed over with Marvel’s Spider-Man.
Homelander vs. Omni-Man: Who would win?
Omni-Man would easily win in a fight with Homelander thanks to the former’s many years of battle experience.
Robert Kirkman, in a recent video posted by Skybound, revealed that he had spoken with The Boys producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, and they all conceded that Homelander would easily lose the fight with Omni-Man.
This is evident by how Homelander’s superhuman feats were produced by science and technology while Omni-Man’s superhuman feats are natural. Moreover, Omni-Man’s years of experience fighting opponents close to his strength or stronger than him can give him an edge over Homelander, who has rarely fought anyone more powerful than him or close to his strength, a weakness Omni-Man can exploit.
