When is the predicted Tejas streaming release date?
The Tejas streaming release date could be sometime in late 2023 or early 2024.
Following its theatrical release on October 27, 2023, Tejas emerged as a critical and box-office disaster and was pulled from several theaters on its opening day. RSVP Movies, the production company behind the film, will likely put Tejas out on a streaming platform as soon as possible to recover at least some of the money it invested. So, it can be speculated that Tejas can be released in late 2023 or early 2024.
Tejas tells the story of Tejas Gill, an Indian Air Force officer tasked to rescue a spy carrying sensitive information. As she battles external enemies, Tejas is plagued by memories of her tragic past.
The film is written and directed by Sarvesh Mevara. The cast includes Kangana Ranaut as IAF officer Tejas Gill, Anshul Chauhan as Arfa, Varun Mitra as Ekveer, Ashish Vidyarthi as IAF chief R K Panicker, Vishak Nair as Prashant, Kashyap Shangari as Vivek, Sunit Tandon as Academy Teacher, Rio Kapadia as RAW Chief, Mohan Agashe as Prime Minister, Mushtaq Kak as Khatooni, and more.
Is Tejas coming out on Netflix?
Tejas could be available to watch via streaming on Netflix.
RSVP Movies has released a number of their titles, which were originally released in theaters, on Netflix. Examples of this include Pihu, The Sky Is Pink, and Bhangra Paa Le. Earlier in 2023, Mission Majnu, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandanna, suffered multiple delays to its theatrical release and eventually came out on Netflix on January 20, 2023. Given that Tejas is a box-office disaster, RSVP might decide to release it on the same streaming service.
While RSVP has indeed released some of its projects through other streaming services, a significant number of its titles — including the Lust Stories films, Ghost Stories, Mismatched, and Ankahi Kahaniya — do land on Netflix, and there is a considerable chance of that happening with Tejas as well.
Current Netflix subscribers should be able to watch the series when it airs. Netflix offers three plans to viewers in the US. The Standard Plan with Ads costs $6.99 a month, the Standard Plan (Ad-free) costs $15.49 a month, and the Premium Plan (Ad-free) costs $22.99 a month. A subscriber can invite others to share their accounts, but they need to have their own accounts and passwords. The number of additional members is decided by the type of plan the subscriber has.
