Fauda Season 5’s release date could arrive by 2026 at the earliest.
The fourth season ends on a cliffhanger, leaving the fates of several important characters, including Doron, in question, so a fifth season of the series was always a possibility. In November 2022, Raz announced at a charity event for Israeli ambulance service Magen David Adom, held at the Island Grill in London’s Royal Lancaster Hotel, that he was open to making more seasons but wanted to continue the story in the cinematic format.
“We are talking about a movie very seriously,” the actor-screenwriter said. “As to whether there will be more seasons, we don’t know yet. We are open to it,” he added.
In September 2023, Deadline reported citing Israeli media sources that Ilan Sigal, Yes CEO, took to the stage at an event with Avi Issacharoff and revealed that the fifth season of Fauda was in development. However, since then, a war has broken out in that region, and some of the actors from the series have rejoined the IDF. It’s probably safe to assume that until the situation subsides, the production will not start again. Optimistically, season 5 can be released on Yes Oh in 2025, and given the pattern set with the previous seasons, it will probably come out on Netflix in 2026 at the earliest.
